Maternal/Child Health

St. Anne’s Maternal/Child Health Unit promotes health and helps prevent and treat diseases in pregnant women, women who have given birth, and children under the age of 5. Our services include:

  • Complete health check-ups for the mother before, during, and after pregnancy
  • Early identification and treatment of potential problems in pregnancy
  • Preparation for labor
  • Evaluating child health from conception to birth
  • Early identification and treatment of diseases for mother and child
  • Health education for mothers and child
  • Immunizations for mother and child

*Children’s vaccines are given only in the morning.*

  • HIV counseling to prevent transmission from mother to child (in coordination with the Comprehensive Care Clinic)

Reproductive Health Unit

Reproductive health is important for every woman, even if you are not planning to have
a baby. St. Anne’s Reproductive Health Unit’s services include:

  • Cervical cancer and reproductive disease screening Monday – Friday from 8.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m.
  • Family planning
  • Education on safe sex practices
