Pharmaceutical Services

All patients have the right to expect the proper medication. At St. Anne Mission Hospital – Igoji, our Pharmacy Department operates within Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) regulations.

Managed by a team of qualified, licensed professional staff, the department consists of five pharmacies: three inpatient pharmacies, one outpatient pharmacy, and one main pharmacy store. Each is stocked with a wide range of safe, appropriate, and easily affordable drugs.

The hospital’s Drugs and Therapeutic Committee, which is composed of representatives from the medical, nursing, and pharmacy staff, as well as budget personnel, help provide quality assurance oversight for the pharmacies. This is a vital role that ensures that our medicines and medical supplies are procured from qualified suppliers so that no imitation or low-quality drugs slip in.

The Outpatient Pharmacy operates 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
